"mmmmm" Crystal said, tasting the chocolate cake in her mouth.
Michael smiled after he had fed Crystal the small bite of his cake.
"Are you suuurrreee you don't want a piece?" Michael asked. Crystal nodded.
"I have self control over sweets." Michael sat up against the bedpost.
"Well...I don't." he said, taking another bite. Crystal turned her attention to the Jurassic Park movie. The only light in Michael's room was the light from the TV. Crystal rested her head on Michael's shoulder. She felt the silky fabric of the black shirt Michael was wearing with black jeans. She started coughing again.
"So...uhh....you thought about visiting the doctor?" Michael asked seriously.
"Michael..."
"Just asking." Michael said, chewing on the cake.
"I got a question for you Mike..." Crystal said, lifting up her head to look at Michael.
"Mmm?" Michael said finishing off the last bite of the cake. Crystal fixed the collar of her white blouse.
"Have you thought about fighting Sony?"
Michael rolled his eyes. "No. I don't need to. I've made up my mind."
Crystal nodded.
"Michael?"
"Yes?" Michael said.
"I won't be going to the doctor..." She took a deep breath. "...until you stick up for yourself."
"Oh now that's just cruel." Michael laughed.
"It is. But it'll help you because..." Crystal said. "I know you care about me. And I care about you. "
Michael sighed and started watching the movie again.
Crystal had fell asleep in the middle of the movie and Michael snuck out of the room and put the plate of cake crumbs in the garbage. He then grabbed a blanket and went outside to the pond. He sat next to the water, wrapped the blanket around his shoulders, and looked at the sunset.
"Michael," he heard a voice say.
Michael turned around and saw Lisa Marie. Michael looked at her in the dim sunlight and realized how beautiful she looks. She had a blue spring looking outfit on. It had a blue light blouse and long pretty blue skirt.
"Michael, she doesn't make you happy."
"Lisa...." Michael said. He ran out of words to say to her at that point.
"Not like I did Michael!" She said. "You know it."
"Lisa stop it. I love Crystal!" Michael said. He took a deep breath. He didn't even realize he said it.
"You do?"
Michael sighed. "Yes."
"No you don't." she said shaking her head.
"Whatever. Believe what you want." Lisa stared at Michael for a moment. Her long hair blew in the wind.
"You don't." Lisa and walked away quickly. She looked like she was rushing to go somewhere.
Lisa met Jeff at the door of the house and almost bumped into him.
"Whoa, slow down girl..." Jeff said smiling.
"Where's Crystal?" she asked.
"Upstairs in Michael's room. Now may I ask you where Michael is?" Jeff asked.
"Sitting by the pond."
"Oh okay. Just checking. What do you need from Crystal?" Jeff asked.
"Ohh I just need to ask her something. Nothing about Michael, just girl talk..." She gave a smile.
"Oh...okay." Jeff said as he watched Lisa run up the stairs.
Lisa went into Michael's room and found Crystal asleep with the TV on and nothing playing on it.
"Crystal..." Lisa said waking her up.
Crystal moaned and opened her eyes to look up at Lisa. Yawning she sat up and asked, "Who are you?"
Lisa sat on the edge of the bed. "I'm Lisa Marie Presley, you probably will know me better if I tell you I'm Elvis's daughter." Crystal's eyes widen a little.
"I heard you and Michael are going together." Lisa said.
"Well...I don't know..."
"I want to give you a little advice." Lisa said. She took a deep breath. "Men are dogs." Crystal gave her a puzzling look.
"You know it." Lisa said looking back at her. "Michael is a vicious, sharp tooth, no-mercy, mad dog." Crystal laughed.
"I'm serious."
"You sound bitter." Crystal said still laughing.
"Well...maybe I am. Look. I was Michael's girl once. I admit. Those big doe innocent eyes pulled you in the trap quick didn't it? Men are like that. They act all sensitive and then, like that," She snapped her fingers. "they turn on you. It's happened to me."
Crystal instantly thought of James. It does happen and it was a fact.
"Michael is exactly that way. I'm warning you. Soon he'll start giving you little presents...act like a big gentleman. He'll make you laugh. You'll fall deeply in love. He'll tell you all the sweet lines he could think of. 'I love you so much, I'm lost for words'. It's all bullshit. I'm telling you--"
"Lisa, I appreciate you warning me, but I think I'll be..." she paused. "I think I'll be just fine. Michael is a sweet guy...and really I don't think he's ready for a relationship so...you still have hope."
Lisa smiled. "Smart. You're very cute." Crystal smiled. Lisa stood.
"Don't say I didn't warn you." she said, and walked out the door. Crystal watched her turn into the hallway and sighed. She knew that there could be doubt in Lisa's words but she couldn't help but give her the benefit. James was sweet and kind at first also. What if she's leading herself into another heartbreak?
Michael watched the pretty colors of the sun blend into each other as the sun went down. Crystal was the only thing on his mind. He's never felt anything like this before. Michael DID love Crystal. More than he even realized. He knew what he had to do. The sky was a midnight blue when he stood up and went back to the house. He met Crystal in the dining room, sitting at the long wooden table, eating a slice of chocolate cake.
"Ah ha! I knew you couldn't resist!" Michael said coming in the room. Crystal gave an embarrassed smile and shrugged. Michael pulled up a chair and sat down.
"What were you doing out there?" Crystal asked softly. She looked at Michael for a second and back at her plate. Those innocent eyes.
"Watching the sunset." He sighed and smiled. Crystal nodded.
"Hey ummm...I want to tell you that I've decided that I wanted to....uhh....face Tommy."
Crystal looked up quickly. "You mean....you are?" A smile spread across her face.
"Yes." Michael said nodding. "But you know what that also means, Crystal...."
