"Havin' a good time?" Michael asked in a cool voice.
Jenny sighed. "I'm trying."
They entered the fancy restaurant with only a couple of reporters following them. Lisa noticed that Michael was the only one that was really dressed up for the occasion. He wore a sparkly white suit that made him look as if he was going to a wedding. When they took a seat, Lisa began to get apprehensive. The public caught on and many more reporters were trying to get into the restaurant.
"Michael," Lisa whispered to Michael, who was sitting next to her. "This is drawing way too much attention to us."
Michael nodded. "Good. That's exactly what I wanted."
"What?"
"If we're going to face The Master and Richard, then they have to know where we stand." Michael explained.
Lisa knew something was up. Hopefully they will go unnoticed. She was intending to have fun that night. They were served glasses full of wine first as they decided what to order. Lisa didn't expect for Michael to touch his drink. She took his glass and sensually ran her free hand down his chest. Michael smiled. Lisa put the glass to Michael's mouth and had him drink the wine.
"Was that good?" Lisa asked.
Michael shrugged. "It wasn't really...complete."
"Really?"
Michael turned towards her and kissed her.
"I think I'm gonna throw up." Latasha said sarcastically. Jake laughed. Looking over Michael's shoulder, Lisa spotted a tall dark figure at the entrance of the restaurant. It was The Master and he was looking straight at Michael and Lisa kissing. His eyes turned cold and a smirk appeared on his face. Lisa quickly pulled away.
"What's wrong?" Michael asked.
"The Master." Lisa whispered in panic. "He's here."
Michael nodded with satisfaction. "Good."
"Michael, be serious!" Jake said. "The Master is the most powerful vampire every. You understand?"
"I understand completely." Michael said calmly. "But the only way to stop them from killing all of us is to fight back."
"Michael. Stop. You're talking crazy. You're not even a full vampire yet. You're letting your power confuse you." Lisa said.
"Lisa, I wish you would stop!" Michael said, raising his voice. "I'm trying to help you."
"Michael, please." Jenny jumped in. "I know it's confusing being in the middle but--"
Michael just stood and left the table. Lisa went after him. Michael went into a small empty hallway that led to the back exit.
"What is wrong with you?!" Michael screamed at Lisa.
"May I ask you the same?" Lisa said. "Please, this vampire thing is getting the better of you."
Michael was furious. He had just found out that he was half vampire and she expect him not to act different?
"Dave is dead. I was nearly killed. WHAT am I supposed to do?!" Michael screamed.
"Calm down. Just cool it. I know this is hard."
"You know?? No you don't. I just really want to...."Michael stopped.
"Kill them. It's vampire instincts. And that's all it is." Lisa explained.
"Lisa, its not just instincts. You really don't get it, do you? Oh wait, I forgot. You know everything." Michael started to pace the hallway.
"Michael, just stop it. You are only half vampire. You're not as powerful as you think you are."
Michael narrowed his eyes. "I nearly forced you to convert me."
Lisa paused. Her hunger and her own vampire instincts took over her. One thing that vampires value is power and Michael was threatening hers.
"Michael. Don't say that again."
He laughed. "So you admit it. If I was a full vampire, I would be more powerful than you."
Lisa's anger was at its peak. She plunged at Michael, backing him against the wall. Michael laughed.
"Having fun?"
Michael punched her in the chest and then in the jaw, making her stumble backwards.
Why am I doing this? Lisa wondered. Why are we fighting like we're animals?
Because they were animals. And Michael was no different. Lisa went at Michael again jabbing him in the stomach. Michael doubled over and Lisa took this moment to grab his and twist it around his back. She heard bones breaking. Michael groaned and grimaced in pain. She knew Michael would heal in about a minute.
"Learned your lesson?" Lisa whispered.
"I might've." Michael said with a smirk. Lisa let him go and pushed him against the wall. Michael looked in a great deal of pain, but it looked like it wasn't going to last long. Michael held his arm for a moment.
"So you can do that to me, but not to Richard." Michael stated in a rough voice.
Lisa licked her lips. She was angry beyond control now. Lisa didn't see Michael as the man she loved anymore; she only saw the vampire in him.
"Michael, I will kill you."
