Michael was whistling 'My Favorite Things' as he poured himself a glass of orange juice.
"Yesterday, you were crying up a storm!"
Michael shrugged as he smiled. "Oh I don't know what's going on. I just feel great today. No worries at all. I'm thinking about opening the amusement park and inviting Janet over to meet my future fianc."
Jeff almost choked. "Don't tell me--"
"Yes, I do plan to propose to her." Michael said.
"Michael, I seriously think this is a bad idea...."
Michael glared at Jeff. "You do?"
Jeff looked down. "Uhhh...well, it's just my opinion, but I think you're moving too fast. But you do what you want."
Michael nodded. "Good. I don't want you saying things that you might regret." Finishing off his orange juice, Michael walked into the living room to call his sister. Jeff thought the way Michael was acting was strange, and he was scared to find out what Michael meant by what he had said.
After Michael called Janet, he dialed Sharon's number. "Hi Michael, how are you doing?"
"Just great. " Michael said. "I wanted to talk to you about something important."
"Okay, go ahead."
"I want you to come over. I'm going to open the theme park and my sister Janet is coming over too. Just drop by tonight."
"Sure! I can't wait!"
"The other thing .....Is that I was thinking about our relationship..."
"Uhh huh...."Sharon said, eagerly.
"Maybe we should take it further. You know, be committed. What do you think about that?"
Sharon was silent. "Hello?"
"Yeah." Sharon said. "I...uhhh...I think you're right. Ummm...I guess I'll see you tonight right?"
Michael smiled again. He had some surprise for Sharon when she comes over.
Sharon hung up the phone and her heart started racing.
She knew it was time.
"Let the killing begin."
That night while Janet, Michael, and Sharon were outside, Jeff was inside thinking. He started to get a bad feeling about her. But he didn't want to get into Michael's relationship. As he was thinking his cell phone rang. "Hey it's Mike. Why don't you come out of the house and join us?"
Jeff sighed. "Oh okay. I'll be down."
He hung up. As he was about to go out the door, he saw a pocket book lying on the table. Picking it up, he assumed it was Sharon's. It was a collection of spells and hypnosis tips. Jeff always had a bad feeling about Sharon, but now the situation has become worst. He put the book in his pocket as he headed out the door.
\ "Hey Jeff! I'm glad you decided to come." Michael said.
They were just outside of the theme park. It was a beautiful night and the lights were a sight to see. Jeff noticed that Sharon was strangely dressed in black. Clasping his hands together with excitement, Michael said, "I guess we all know everyone here. Janet, I told you about Sharon."
Sharon and Janet nodded.
"And before we head for the rides, I have an announcement to make."
Michael took out a small black box from his pocket and smiled at Sharon. Sharon smiled back.
"Hey Michael," Jeff said suddenly. "Can I talk to you for a second?"
Michael froze and glared at Jeff, obviously angry. Jeff shrugged nervously. Michael sighed. "Fine."
Michael walked with Jeff away from Sharon and Janet. "WHAT is it?" Michael asked.
"Michael, I wanted to tell you that maybe you should think twice about this. I mean, do you really know who she is, and what she's about?"
Michael sighed impatiently. "Do you realize what I was just about to do, Jeff?? Of COURSE I love her. Of course I care about her. And I trust her. I wouldn't be doing this unless I'm absolutely sure."
Jeff nodded. "Okay, I believe you." He smiled. "Go for it."
As they walked back, Jeff's heart almost skipped a beat when he saw Sharon. Sharon was staring him down with a haunting look on her face. "You don't believe in love either," A voice in Jeff's mind said. Jeff stopped.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Michael asked.
Jeff shook his head. "Nothing." He said as he gazed atSharon. She gave a menacing smile.
