Lisa stood in the middle of her living room still in shock. Tears popped in her eyes.
“Michael, your driving me insane….Michael your driving me insane…” Lisa whispered pulling on her hair. She knew she didn’t imagine all of what she saw. What she did 10 years ago finally was coming back to haunt him.
“Okay Michael! Okay! What do you want me to do?” There was no answer. It was as if she was talking to herself. She knew Tommy and Evan were at Neverland themselves. She needed to get away from the house.
“I can’t take this…” Lisa whispered to herself. She quickly grabbed her jacket and headed out the door.
Prince walked towards the house, occasionally looking over his shoulder towards his sister who was headed towards the gate. Prince started to pass the movie theater when he heard front door slamming. Prince stopped in his tracks. He backed up a bit and looked at the door. It was open.
“Hello?” Prince called out as he stepped up to the door. Silence.
Prince entered the building, past the consession stand, and into the dark theater.
“Hello? Is anybody—“ His words were cut off by the screen turning on. All he heard was static. Prince looked to the back of the theater and found there wasn’t any tape rolling. Prince’s heart started to pound because he felt he wasn’t alone. But cautiously he sat down in one of the chairs of the theater. Once he sat down, some sort of movie started to play.
“Blood?” Tommy Matolla said. “no, that isn’t blood…”
“Tommy this is blood,” Evan confirmed. He visably became scared. “We gotta get out of here….”
Evan stood and went up the stairs. Tommy quickly followed.
“I told you so didn’t I?” Tommy said. “I told u we would get away with it only if you didn’t interfer with nothing! But no! I guess I know how greedy you really are!”
They entered the library when Evan turned around.
“What?” Evan said.
“You heard me.”
Evan laughed. “Oh no no no no….i do not think you are the one that supposed to be talking about greed here. You wanted it done more than all three of us.”
“Now that’s a lie. You know I was hesitant to do it…”
“Not because you didn’t want it done,” Evan said. “You didn’t wanna get your rich ass in trouble.”
Tommy pressed his lips together. “please,”
There was a sound of a book falling off the shelf and hitting the floor. Both Tommy and Evan didn’t move, they only looked at each other. Tommy then went to pick the book up. He looked at it and laughed nervously.
“What is it?”
“Edgar Allen Poe…Tale Tell Heart.” Tommy said. There was a cracking sound.
“Tommy watch out!!” Evan shouted.
Tommy moved out of the way before the shelf came crashing down on top of him. A cloud of dust eluminated from the fallen shelf.
“Holy shit!” Tommy said, trying to contain his composer. “Mike’s fuckin around with us…”
Evan swallowed hard. “What? All he wants is his wonderland back? Is that what you want Mike?!” He shouted.
“Evan,” Tommy said still shaken up. “Lets just get out of here.”
Paris, on the way back to the gates, she began to pass by the amusement park. She started getting a bit nervous walking through the dark park at night by herself. She’s used to hearing music while passing through the park, but it was silent. All she heard was the sound of her footsteps.
She started to worry about her brother.
“Ehh, it’s his problem if he want to go chase some ghosts…” she said to herself. She felt akward because she knew what she saw in her father’s room was real. Prince was right. There was a ghost. But she didn’t want to believe it. She just wanted to except that he was gone so it can stop hurting.
She sighed. “Great.” She felt guilty. She decided to turn around and find Prince when she heard running footsteps behind her.
“Paris!” she heard Lisa Marie call out.
