Paris tried to reach over the bed and grab the phone away from Prince. "What are you doing??"
"Before you start grabbing things, look behind you at your mirror." Prince said.
Paris paused and turned around. She saw the fading numbers on her mirror. She sighed.
"What are you gonna say?" Paris asked.
"You said we can't do anything about Neverland, right? Well I plan to speak my mind to him. We have nothing to lose right?"
Paris shrugged. "Go ahead I guess."
In a few moments, Prince got an answer. "Hello, Mr. Chandler?"
"Put him on speaker phone." Paris said.
Prince nodded and did so.
"Yes? Hello?" Evan said on the other line.
"This is Prince and Paris Jackson--"
"Oh Michael's kiddies. How are you children doing?" Evan said.
"Oh i don't know....I'm guessing not very well since the same man that used our father for extortion is the same guy buying his place after he's dead...." Prince said.
"Oh I see you're mad about that...." Evan chuckled. "Oh and by the way, do you guys still where them scarves around your faces?" He laughed again. "You know, I was just curious."
Prince gazed and Paris. Paris was beginning to turn red.
"And you know, I was just curious if you were enjoying our father's money too. " Paris mumbled.
"I heard that. You guys got me on that dang speaker phone? You all better start behaving before your mother comes in and catches you. Oh that's right. You all don't have a mother."
Paris shook her head and pressed her lips together.
"Calm down," Prince whispered.
"You know, I really don't have time for this kiddies. Neverland is mine. Its only a matter of days now. So you all can whine about it all you want to. Did you think I stopped when your father was whining about how much 'pain' he was in? No! He paid his price. He didn't pay me the money in the first place. So he paid in the worse possible way. That's just something you kids got to understand. I don't give a damn if his dead. And guess what? Nobody else does either. Neverland is mine. All 3000 acres of it. Now why don't you kids hurry along, go find Michael's long lost nose or something." He hung up.
Prince took in a deep breath.
"Do you see why I gave up?" Paris said. "YOu see why don't you?"
Prince nodded. "Yeah. Yeah i do."
As Janet was looking though papers Jermaine presented her for the selling of Neverland, she got an unexpected call.
"Debbie, god I haven't heard from you in a while." Janet said. "How are you holding up?"
"Pretty good, I guess." Debbie said. "How's Prince and Paris?"
"Creating chaos as usual." Janet laughed. "No, they're doing fine."
"How are they taking this whole Neverland situation?" Debbie asked.
"Not so good," Janet sighed. "I'm not sure if I'm taking it well myself."
"I'm sure whatever you do, it'll be best. You got to do what you got to do."
"I suppose." Janet said.
"Lisa has been calling me." Debbie said.
"Lisa? Lisa Marie? What for?"
"Well I never talked to her, but she left messages on her answering mechine. She was talking kind of weird.....but I get the feeling she's starting to regret what she did several years back to Michael......i guess..... I mean, she sounded out of it."
"Weird..." Janet said.
"Yeah but that's not the only think that's weird. I mean, have anything been looking a little strange to you....like around the house....?"
Janet thought about it and said, "Yeah......you're right. It just feel like something isn't right..."
Debbie swallowed hard. "yeah, I'm glad I'm not the only one having this feeling."
"What do you think it is?"
"Well....do you believe in ghosts?"
