Chapter 2: You Know You're A Fan When...
Closet fans are all around you. They probably listen to Michael Jackson CD's but are too embarrassed to say "Yes, I'm a Michael Jackson fan", unfortunately, because it's almost become taboo to say such a thing. You might get banned as a "weirdo" instantly.
�� But we know you, gentle reader, aren't like that right? You aren't one of those people viewing this page at work or at school, only pulling up this window when no one is looking, right? �� Now you've gotten through the first step: admitting it to yourself. As your fandom grows you just might enter a "zone". In the "zone", you'll do something things that ONLY, and I mean ONLY, Michael Jackson fans would THINK of doing. Maybe you're in the zone already. ~ You wonder around a store for a while,� not really buying anything, because Michael Jackson is playing on the loud speakers.
~Your pet can respone to Michael Jackson's name.
~ You own about 11 of the 50 million "Thriller" albums sold and yet you still have to get the Millinnium Edition.
~When ever someone mentions Michael Jackson, everyone turns to look at you.
~You have been asked by Michael's people to STOP CALLING!
~You are always updated on the latest Michael Jackson news.
~ You own at least one of these: a fedora, one white glove, loafers, a surgical mask
~You have this sudden urge to climb a tree
~You find yourself using MJ Ebonics in your everyday speech (Chapter 1)
