Tricks Of The Trade

Michael kissed Debbie's soft lips as he ran his fingers through her hair.

"Mmm," she moaned, backing away a little. "Aren't you worried about Lisa?"

Michael should've worried. But emotions meant so little to him; he didn't even care. Michael took off Debbie's necklace. He started kissing her neck. Slowly and easily, he bit into her skin.

"Whoa, Michael--" Debbie said with surprise. Michael drank enough blood to make sure he wasn't thirsty, and then let her go. She was still awake and still alive. But she was clearly dazed. Michael took this moment and put her in a spell so she can forget it ever happened.

"Are you okay?" Michael asked afterwards.

"Of course, I'm okay. Why wouldn't I be?"

Michael smiled.

"But listen, I need to go home. For some reason I feel really tired."

Michael nodded. "Being around me can do that to you."

Debbie laughed. "Oh stop!"

Michael walked her to her car. "See you later?"

"Definitely," As Debbie drove off she had to smile to herself. "Move over Lisa Marie Presley."

~~~~~~~
Michael went back inside the house to get ready for his meeting with Ray Davidson. As he got ready, Michael's craving for blood came back even though he had just drank some. He knew the cravings were becoming an addiction. His head throbbed with pain, but he would just have to walk it off until after his meeting with Ray.
Ray's house was very expensive. It was a result of years of hunting and stalking celebrities. He had never made a story about a vampire before. But this was only a mere challenge for him. He knew he had Michael Jackson right where he wanted him. When Michael arrived at his house, he was awed at the ghastly decorations in Ray's home. Many dark and dreary paintings covered the wall. The dim lights made the house look depressing. Ray knew Michael loved it. When they settled down in Ray's office room, Ray offered a drink to him.
"No thanks."
Ray smiled. "even if it was blood?"
Michael's eyes lit up.
"Don't worry. I know you're a vampire. I am also." Ray got up from his seat and went to the cabinet built into the wall. Opening the door, Ray revealed bags a pone bags of human blood.
"Don't tell me that was stolen from Red Cross." Michael joked.
"Actually," Ray tossed him a bag. "It was."
Ray watched as Michael used his sharp teeth to bite into the bag. Ray could hear the faint, quiet tap of the camera under his desk. He had what he needed. He then sat back down.
"So Mr. Jackson, are you interested in helping out with the children's program I have running?"
Ray smiled at himself for remembering the lie he had told Michael. He knew for sure that he was not interested.
Michael inevitably shook his head. "No," Michael couldn't figure out why he was there.
"Okay," Ray smiled. "Then let's talk." Maybe he could get more out of Michael for his story.
When Lisa came in the door, she wasn't surprised to find that Michael wasn't home. He was always at some meeting he needed to attend to. When she cut on the light, she saw a necklace lying on the couch. She knew it wasn't Michael's and it wasn't hers. Lisa cooled down her anger before it had risen. She didn't want to speculate, but she couldn't help but think of the worst.
