"Lisa." Michael said suddenly. Lisa froze.
"I want you to stay." His voice was soft but demanding. Michael gazed at Janet, who was shedding tears. He nodded, and Janet ran off, in total shock.
What are you doing? Lisa thought. Are you going to let Michael take control of you?
"So you're back?" Lisa asked.
"Yes. I never left."
Lisa gazed at Debbie. Suddenly, everything began to come back to Lisa. How Michael had hurt her, how Debbie had took Michael away from her.
"You're an ass." Lisa said. "You think I would just forget now that I know you're not dead?"
"No." Michael said. He gave her a cool look. "But if you want to talk about me and Debbie, I am willing."
Lisa put one hand on the banister. "Talk."
"She just simply provides me with something that you can't." Michael said.
"You want to be human again so badly, don't you? So you use her because she has human qualities." Lisa reasoned.
Michael was silent for a moment. "Believe what you want."
Lisa nodded.
"I see," She said bitterly. "Damn you."
"What I wanted to tell you is that I'm going after someone."
"The Master." Debbie finished. Lisa shook her head, slightly amused.
"The Master?"
The Master was the most powerful vampire ever. Anyone that challenged him failed. Vampires crave to rise above him. It was the one thing immortals wanted more than blood: Power.
"Michael, you really are out of your mind."
Michael shrugged and crossed his arms. "I just wanted you to know that I will destroy anyone that gets in my way. So you can either help me, stay out, or die."
Lisa pressed her lips together in anger. "Are you sure you won't destroy me anyway?"
Michael smiled. "I might. I take pride in killing. Just as I've killed my sister LaToya. Such fear in her eyes..."
Lisa backed away. "You're crazy. I don't know what has happened to you. I don't know what to think of you! To hate you, or to love you, what the fuck?!"
Michael grinned.
"I hope you're happy Michael. Have fun killing." Lisa left.
Michael's grin turned into a smile.
"You know, Deb? I am so glad the media is off my back. They think I'm dead."
"That was your goal right?" Debbie asked, taking Paris off of her knee. Paris sat on the steps.
Michael nodded. "Poor Lisa. I really broke her heart, didn't I?" Michael tried hard to care. He really tried. But he decided to except that he was a vampire. He was made not to care.
