Black Republicans
Intoduction:

More African Americans should vote republican today.  Most are unaware of this because of popular perceptions that prevail today.  I should rephrase this-
about half of African Americans should vote Republican and about half should vote Democrat.  This is because we live in a two party majoritarian democracy.  There are societies which live in multi-party democracies that share power, but in the U.S., power is concentrated in the elected power.  This is not necessarily bad.  The needs of the many always outweigh the needs of the few.  However, when there are many points of view, a consensus on what "majority" means needs to be adressed.  Blacks in America need to know this because they are easily taken advantage of by white democrats.  They are constantly tricked into believing that there are good and bad whites, that the good whites need to defend the blacks against the bad whites.  In reality, the good whites make money off of defending the blacks against the bad whites.  All the while, the blacks remain as the poor people that need to be defended by the good whites.  And in all of this, whitey is in total control, except for people like Colin Powell and Condolezza Rice.  These are people that have guts.  The only people opressed on our society are black republicans.  They are rejected by the black community.  Most of all, they are right.  They are fighting for blacks, yet they are oppressed by blacks.  It is ironic.  In essence, they are heroes.  50 years from now, the black history museum will be praising the early 21st century pioneers that were oppressed black republicans.  Most blacks are unaware of this because of popular perceptions that dictate how they think.  I have an explanation for why all of this is occurring.  So, if you are willing to see the truth, I will show you it.
We live in a segregated society.  There are Africans and there are Europeans.  Most of our population is one of the two.  There is no grey area, you are either one or the other.  Each one talks different, acts different, looks different.  These are two distinctly different cultures.  The Europeans dominate everything.  They have control.  The Africans would like to live their own way, but they can't because whitey owns all the land.  The only feasible option is for the Africans to get along with the whites.
For the Africans that don't like this scenario, they should sit down and think about what they would do if a large plot of land was given to African Americans.  What kind of society would they form?  They would form a police force wouldn't they?  Would they have a majoritarian or consensus democracy?  What kind of economy would they have?  How many hours a week would be considered a full time work week?  What principals would international policy be based on?  Would the economy be capitalist or communist?

Today, every ethinic group in America votes Republican except for blacks.  Why is this?  Because every other group knows that true power in American politics comes by voting for both parties.  Another reason is that blacks have much more emotion tied into American history, and emotions precede logic in politics; even if it makes sense for an African American to vote Republican, he/she will not do it out of his/her hatred for white people.  However, asians, indians, hispanics, jews, and other groups do not let their hatred for "white" people dictate their politics.
It is important to note that the head of the NAACP, Quasi Mfume, saw his grandmother get gangraped by klansmen when they invaded his town.  It is obvious that he will have a natural bias and hatred against white america.  There is no way he will want to have peaceful coexistance with whitey.  It is no coincidence then, that the NAACP is currently working with Cuba against the U.S. governments wishes.  It is also important to note that the NAACP backstabbed Native American groups a couple of years ago.  The Native American groups claimed that the NAACP was only for African Americans and didn't care about anybody else, regardless if they were considered "colored" or not.

Freedom Defined:
What is freedom?  Freedom is the ability to do what you want.  This ability comes from having options available.
Without a substantial amount of options, there can be no freedom.  The less options, the less freedom.  The more options, the more freedomWhen African-Americans confine themselves to just one option when they vote, they limit the amount of freedom and control they have in American society.  Imagine playing a game of poker in which you have only duplicates of the same card.  You cannot fool anybody because everyone knows what cards you are bringing to the table all of the time.  Therefore, you cannot possibly win.  Make no mistake, winning something does not come by decieving people.  But, an idividual leaving themself unpredictable does have several advantages.  One of these is that others will try to win your favor by giving you things.  If there is an idividual who is going to make a tie-breaking vote between two people who are running for election against each other, the two people are going to offer the individual a lot of things, especially if this scenario is likely to occur for a long time in the future.  Each individual is going to wish to establish long term loyalty to the tie-breaking voter in order to guarantee victory in the future.  In this scenario, the two running against each other have the least amount of freedom.  This is because their only options are to get elected or get out.  But, the person with the most freedom is the one who decides the victor.  This person can demand a lot of things from the people running against each other. This person has a whole lot of options.  The more options an individual has and the less predictable an idividual is, then the more freedom this person has.  There is more freedom to choose. Ultimatley, this person has more control. This person has a lot of control over their own destiny. Therefore, when more African-Amercians vote Republican, African-Americans as a people will have more freedom, options, and control of their own destiny.

African-Americans should ask themselves this:  What advantages to they give themselves by constantly voting for the democrat?

In the American system of government, almost every election process comes down to just two people: the Democrat and the Republican.

The Two Types of Democracies
:
Every democracy that exists can be compared when you place each one on a spectrum with majoriarian on one end and consensus on the other end.  The most majoriarian democracy is one in which a small amount of people elected an official(s) who has a whole lot of power.  The most consensus democracy is one in which a very large majority voted for official(s) which have a small of amount of power.  The United States is one of the most majoritarian democracies in the world.
Here is a table comparing majoritarian vs. consensus:
Majoritarian
Consensus
Less political parties, usually a two party system More political parties
Easier for one party to have total control Parties share power more equally
Highly competative, less cooperation
Highly cooperative, less competative
Smaller parties have no influence
Smaller parties have substantial influence
More centralized Decentralized, spread out
Representative democracy
Direct democracy
Majority controls
As many people as possible control
More exclusive More inclusive

Amercia Will Always be a Two Party Majoritarian Democracy:

Throughout almost all of America's history, there has been a two party system.
There has never been much of a third party influence.  In the few instances where a third party does have influence, both parties absorb the issues that the third party was for, thus annihilating the third party.  One of the fundamental foundations of American politics is that we have a two party system.  This is not going to change any time soon unless there is a huge change in Amercan society on a large revolutionary scale that will change everything.  It is therefore reasonable to expect that the democrat and republican parties are going to be here as the only two parties running America throughout our entire lifetimes.  These are going to be the only two parties running American politics for a long time.
If one were to measure the amount of power each party has over a long period of time, it is reasonable to assume that about 50% of America's political power is in the Republican party and 50% is in the Democratic Party.
Why then, should African Americans confine themselves to a potential of just 50% of America's power when they can tap into a potential of 100% of America's power?
African Americans Will Continue to Need White People's Help Until They Vote Republican:

African Americans need to be educated about the fact that the United States is more of a majoritarian democracy than consensus.
When the Republican party is elected into power, AA's get nothing because they have no influence in the Republican Party.  African Americans think as if we live in a consensus democracy where there is an AA party which has a substantial amount of power.  However, this is not the case.  There is no African American party. There are only the Republcan and Democratic parties.  (There are others but they have insignificant influence.)  The only time when Afro Americans have influence is when the Democratic party is elected into power.  However, this is not always going to happen.  Republicans are always going to be elected, and they aren't going to be wiped out of existance any time soon.  Another point that needs to be made is that when Democrats are elected, how much do they really have to do for AA's? If a democrat does nothing for AA's, are AA's going to get mad and vote for a republican in the next election?  NO!  Since AA's only vote democrat, the democrats only need to fulfill the bear minimum AA's demand in order to elect democrats.  There is not a lot of pressure for a democrat to do a whole lot for AA's. Now, think about this scenario:  In an upcoming election with a democrat vs. a republican, the AA's declare that they no longer think of republicans as too racist to vote forIn fact, the AA's will vote for the republican if certain policies are actuated.  (more money for schools, small businesses, jobs, etc...)  All of a sudden, the democrat will be forced to increase the amount of things they will do for African Americans.  The battle for the black vote will officially begin.  Suddenly, you will see the amount of wealth in the AA community increase.  Small businesses with black ownership will increase, the run down schools in impoverished black neighborhoods which don't get enough tax dollars will be improved.  AA's will become more educated, more influential--They will become more powerful.
African Amercians are currently relying on good white people to do good things for black people.  This is because AA's haven't had much power or influence in American society because they were suppressed and the only one's that would help them were good white people.  However, AA's are no longer suppressed in our society as they were 40 years ago.
They don't need white people to help them anymore.  Most black people aren't aware of this fact.  They still think they need good white people to help them against the bad ones.  Today, AA's are constantly taken advantage of by white people who claim they are there to help when in fact they are there to exploit blacks for something.  This usually occurs when a wealthy white democrat needs blacks to vote for him/her.  In the end, blacks get some nice fuzzy words from whites but nothing acual or solid.  In other words, it's a bunch of B.S., and African Americans miss out on the vast amounts of wealth and prosperity that America has to offer.

Other points worth noting:
The group that benefits most from affirmative action is white women.
