| Note: Lifetime Batting Average provided for players withr 50+ "At Bats", or AB. These numbers not updated since mid-2004. Awaiting BKK & Dubai official numbers. PAT MORRIS ( seen in photo above ) ---Lifetime batting average .584 (3rrd) New Dhahran Mens Softball Association Batting Champion with a .742 season average. Beat out KB's poor 2nd at .739. Rob Padilla ( Greek Connection ) --- Lifetime batting average .565 Rob is a well-known talent in Greek baseball circles. Well versed in baseball statistics since his childhood, he may be the odds on favorite for winning at baseball trivia at this BISL tournament. He also plays softball in his off-seasons from Greek baseball, and has made claims that he's a top hitter on the J-1-M squad. JOHN T. LARSON ("JT") Maybe the 2nd best knowledge of baseball trivia on the J-1-M squad. JT was picked up as an infield "consultant" for the Bangkok (BISL) tourney, and played out his probation at the follow-on Middle East Softball Championships in Dubai. Added to roster after Dubai. Guillermo Henao ( Billy ) Seconded from the Kharafi Kings, where he has been their perennial lead-off batter, and a damn hard out, Billy decided to try cooking some fish in the big pond at Bangkok. Led the team in batting, and played in Bahrain because his native squad travels only twice a year. JIM CLARK --- Lifetime batting average .455 Jim is the latest distance player to reach "veteran" status with J1M. Just a year ago he was a new addition to the Just 1 More young tradition of winning softball. He was Young (well, relatively) and strong, utlimately proved to be a great fit for the team and a particularly good asset in the outfield. JOHN "Shaw" SCHENCK (Redemption) --- Lifetime batting average . 614 (2nnd) Loves to hear the crowd yelling "John Scheeeeennnnncccckkkk!!!", as opposed to another popular jplayer's name that now plays with his Chinese buddies. Learned in Manila that he is a better POLO player than SOFTBALL player, ... Just kidding John. ERNEST "Sonny" YUKL --- Lifetime batting average .305 Guaranteed some righteous playing time in Dubai, after holding down the books in Bangkok. Challenging Todd Vansky for the Buck-Fitty position, claiming Todd can only brag of .50 batting average points for lifetime hitting. TODD VANSKY ( Coach ) --- Lifetime batting average .564 Crippled his performance by attending Asian tournament. After last year's Asian tourneys Todd claimed he would never play outside the Middle East region again, until his raises his batting average. Well, he did it in Jakharta! So he will lead the team into battle this November in Bangkok, ... and from the PITHCERS Mound! JOHN NEVILLE --- Lifetime batting average .574 John have been taking batting practice down in Doha, Qatar, very seriously. He called us in Dhahran a while back asking if we saw any of his "shots" rolling down the highway here in Saudi !!! Deeaammmm!!! KEITH BROWN ( Softball HO! , 'Mr Peanut' ) --- Lifetime batting average .670 (1sst) Looking forward to showing up for his home court advantage in Dubai -- not! Dubai was a sore point for KB, as it was with many J-1-M reliable players. Just played out after Bangkok ... too much humidity!. ART UDOVICH (Just-1-Game) --- Lifetime batting average .489 Tapped out in the Montana bar in Manila. JYD revived him, and managed to continue his drinking progress through the night. Is willing to place ANY wager in order to recover his dignity. Schenck says it is highly unlikely, and guarantees that ART will pay for his trip to Dubai.
