So, what is Serpent's Tooth?

Well, so far it is a text-based (unfortunately) RPG. By that, I don't mean you do stuff like type in "Hit ogre", or any of that crap. Instead, you actually do RPG stuff... you move around as per an adventure (north, or 'n', etc...) but apart from that, there is character progression, magic, a storyline and plot...!

It has been in the works for years (you might not be able to tell that from playing it...) but it has actually changed drastically. My only problem is I don't know how to do graphics.... yet. Soon, hopefully, I will be able to program graphics and sound, and this will eventually become a proper RPG, a la Shining Force.

Anyway, download it, see what you think, and leave me your comments 8)

This is Gawyn, the main character, who you control. You get to choose his Race and Class, and so there is the ability to define exactly what kind of character you would like him to be....
These are two of the many findable items om the game. The first is a Dwarven Longsword, the second a Dwarven Cuirass. There are many weapons, and five types of armour available, but all also have almost twenty different types of material that they can be made out of - Dwarven is one of the weaker materials, but is still very strong.
Aside from weapons and armour, there are scrolls, healing balms and Magical potions, and also many secret and/or powerful artefacts, that eother give the character great benefits, or allow progress to new parts of the game.
Unfortunately, the game is still not in the graphical phase, but this is what they should be like when it does eventually reach it.

I've finally got my hands on InstallShield, so I can make a proper installation process for ST> The only problem is, I don't really have any idea how to use it! I'll keep you informed as to what's happening with that. Also, I'd like to know whether people actually want this(?) I can see how it can be annoying to have something installed in various places all over the computer, when you don't want it. If people would prefer me to distribute it as just a zip file, then I will.....
