This scenario is another race against time. This time, you must hurry towards the fort, before Alvince or his troops kill Alfred.

Don't worry too much - you only need to get near to the fort. However, you have no control over Alfred to begin with, and he tried to fight off the enemies. Take a few people west, taking out the enemies en route. Once you near the fort, Alfred will acknowledge you and join up. As soon as you get your first oppurtunity, take him to the lever, and select the first option (yes). The gate to the fort will open, allowing you access, and him escape.

You'll need to get someone back to take on the horsemen who've skirted the mountain, but aside from that it's simply a matter of killing quite easy soldiers and Fighters. The secret tile is something you should aim for - an extra troop to hire is ~ very ~ handy indeed.

( n.b. Alfred's stats are not shown, as they depend on how his stat increases as he's levelled up, and may vary from game to game)
