So I'm back at work after a long 16 day break and it's hard to be at work. I love my job, I really do. I'm a teacher. I teach high school English in an inner city charter school and I love what I do, but Jesus it's hard to get up so early. I've decided that I believe schools would be more productive if we started at 10 am and got out later. I'm half asleep, my kids are half asleep. We set up a schedule a million years ago based on sunlight and for whatever reason we haven't caught up with the needs of the time. MAybe I'll move to Vegas where they have school 24 hours a day. Then I could have the late shift, or maybe I'll teach online only classes. :)
