I love to sing, laugh, and enjoy life with my children...but most of all I am a great believer in God and my faith.
GOODBYE MY DEAR FRIEND KATHLEEN!

A few months ago I met a wonderful person on myspace by the name of Kathleen. She was not your typical "friend" who just blabbered on about this or that. She shared the last few months of her life with us. The journey that took her to finally rest in the arms of the Angels. She complained only when it was really necessary. She gave us updates on her disease. But the thing that struck me the most is even when she was at her worst...she was always, always ready to lend a shoulder to cry on, a word of encouragement and most days left us with a smile on our face.

I prayed hard that God would heal her. I selfishly wanted her to be here on this terrible Earth and not in the loving arms of the Father. I just knew she could touch so many lives if she just got better. But then I realized. She is better. She is painfree. She has probably a head full of hair again. And most of all....she did touch lives. So many lives.

She was indeed a true picture of strength and courage. Having already survived twice she did every thing she could to make people aware of a rapidly growing problem. She fought until the very end and made sure we remembered to keep our checkups on ourselves. She always was ready to shout out against the "drama" and at the same time keep us down to earth with her journey.

So many of us were touched by a very special Angel that God sent down from Heaven to live among us if just for a while.

I want to thank Jess to for keeping us updated on her Mom. She is definately one special kid. I am so sorry you had to lose your Mom so early, but I want you to know she was special and reminded me on almost a daily basis that my life was not so bad. And even to the end while she stared death itself in the face, she kept a sense of humor...reminded us to keep up with our checks...and always told us she loved us. Your one lucky kid to have had such a great Mom. May God bless you richly in your future.

Rest in the arms of the Angels my dear friend Kathleen and thank you for touching my life.

God bless, MUM

What a beautiful story, and one you never hear about in regards to my Space. Mostly it is how bad it is. I am so glad your my-space friend, Kathleen had you as a praying friend. Very touching. Please give my condolences to her daughter.

May the Lord bless you and keep you in His Shalom.
