Me...Myself...I

Give me.  I want.  I need.  I have to have.  Mine.  It's ALL about ME.

What if God felt this way?

All to often we as humans become self centered and everything we do, say or pray is all about me.  We forget about others and want God to pay attention to us and do what we want Him to.  And, when He doesn't do it right away and right like we want Him to...we look up and say "Hello...are you there God?" or we just simply turn our backs on him and walk away.

God holds us accountable for everything we do or don't do...say or don't say...and in the end when you stand before Him and for that moment...when it is ALL ABOUT YOU...what are others going to see?  What will God see?  A giver or a taker?  A helper or a user?  The truth or the lie revealed?  Did you keep your commitments or did you let someone else take the heat?  Pay the bills or avoid them?  10 percent or what you felt like giving that day? 

No matter what it is...God knows what you've done and not done to fulfill your responsibilities as a Christian.  Did you pass that stranger or friend without sharing because you knew they did not know Him or maybe had strayed from Him?  Or did you walk on by without even planting the seed or watering it?  Did you make a commitment to a relative or friend and keep it?  Or did you turn your back on it and let them take the heat?

For a brief moment...it will be ALL ABOUT YOU on judgement day.  And in that brief moment, it will be known if your life was ALL ABOUT YOU....or ALL ABOUT GOD.  If you can't say today that it's been ALL ABOUT YOU GOD...then stop right now and make it ALL ABOUT HIM.
