I know this ought to concentrate on the RIA but once in a while, as now I discover something in another related technology and post it here.  Recently i discovered "action" within Photoshop, which is essentially macro recordings of features within the application to implement effects, create objects, modify text elements, and so much more.

The attached image is a result of one such "action" I downloaded from the Macromedia exchange.   This action modifies the image to create a sketch effect.
