PROBLEMS OF PLENTY AND PROBLEMS OF SCARCITY
Most of us fall in between when it comes to applying for a job.
Either we are too experienced for the job or we have too little experience.
On top of it MNCs look for candidates between 26 and 32 years.
How do we reconcile this ?
As a candidate applying for a job we find ourselves too old for the job.
All the experience we have gained through our career comes to nought because we have ruled out because of our age.
Similarly for the candidates just out of college or with a couple of years experience they find themselves ruled out for lack of experience.
There is a way out of this dilemma.
Why dont you set your sights a bit low.
Look for openings in the SME segment.
For the experienced they provide opportunities for leadership with very good pay.
For the inexperienced they provide an avenue to gain experience and also get paid for it.
