This restaurant offers diner classics like patty melts and hot dogs as well as homemade potato chips and a variety of desserts. It also has the worst service in town!
I have waited as long as 17 minutes for my order to be taken. (And that was a day when only six tables were occupied and there were two servers working!)

Oh, and my pet peeve is a problem here -- I never get drink refills. I even complained to the manager (owner?) once that I ate my entire meal with nothing to drink and she simply shrugged and said, "OK." You will not get checked on more than once your entire meal and if you do you're lukcy. I have been there 10 times and have had what I would call "good" service *once*. I have gone at many different times (e.g. lunch, noon, dinner, at opening, etc.) and it is *never* better than the last time; if anything, it's getting worse.

The wait staff is mainly adolescents. They seem clueless and as if they could care less about the customers (or their jobs!). There never seems be anyone around to reprimand them or for me to complain to.

Recently I was at the *only* occupied table in the restaurant and the young woman literally stared at us from the behind the counter the entire time we were there, we didn't receive condiments, we needed refills, wanted takeout boxes, etc., and never got checked on once.

It's a real shame because they have good food and the decor is really retro and fun, but I will not be returning. After 10 tries, it's time to give up.
