Well, here I sit.

I got up this morning and did my civic duty by getting to the polls to vote.  Seemed like a normal humdrum kinda day.  Tuesdays are called "Library Day"!  Mostly because it is the day that Georgia and I (and the baby) meet up with my (OWN) Jana and the little boy she takes care of Ben.  We pack picnic lunches and play at the park then head over to the library.  It is great fun!  Usually.....

Unless of course you are me and while you are going out to the car to get the booster car seat and the stroller you step in a hole in the back yard to avoid the dog bounding in your direction and twist your ankle.  Yep, you read that right.

So, now here I sit at the student health center waiting my turn to see a nurse so she can send me up to get an x-ray.  Good times.

Not to mention that the mom I work for is home sick in bed with the stomach flu and a crabby baby..  Oy! 

Lucky for Georgia she has a top notch nanny and I figured everything out for her.  Called Jana, so she came and picked her up... Georgia still got her library day!  It is fun, so I am glad she got to go...

But here I sit....  I'll let you know how it all turns out.

p.s.  check out the pic, this is from Library Day a couple weeks ago..  I totally dig the knee socks.  Did I mention is has been 95 degrees down here for the last 2 days.  I thought summer was over.....  Oy!
