The Nanny Diaries.. 2006
Oy! Where to start. Mostly I feel left out. Seems like all the cool kids are doing this, so when in Rome.. Where a toga?
I'll get better at this.. September 7, 2006

Well... what can I say.  It has been way too long, I apologize.

With that said!

Lots of stuff is going in Jessica's world.  I started school on Tuesday, and my new schedule is kicking my ass.  But I think it is going to work out really well.

Graham started kindergarten this week and is soooo excited.  Georgia moved into an older classroom at her pre-school.  And last but not least Phoebe really started walking, and she just turned 10 months old.  It seems like the summer just flew by.  I had all 3 kids and at some times thought I was going to go crazy.. But it worked out great.  I saw lots of fun museums and started to become friends with the OWN(other white nanny).  Found out on Tuesday that she and I have the same birthday.  Kinda cool.

I am gearing up for another run of Ren Faire up in gilroy.  So if anyone wants to come out and say hi...It is in a beautiful place, and a nice little Faire.

2 classes in the morning, then me and my travel buddy are on the road!

My NM(nanny mom) left today for a few days to go visit friends in Seattle.  I think ND(nanny dad) is a little nervous about being alone with the kids for a few days.  I gave him some suggestions on a couple places to go that the kids really like.  I told him that I was having nanny guilt about not being available this weekend.  He told me, "don't worry about it".  But as I said goodbye today he looked at me and said.."fine.  just leave us".

He was totally kidding of course, but i couldn't help feeling a little flattered.  It's not just the kids who don't want me to leave.

The thing about being a nanny is this.  You really want to feel apart of the family.  And I am very lucky to have found it.

Until next time.
