I thought I would document the kitchen remodeling project in all it's glory.
It started with the need to enclose the covered 4' X 11' porch. When we get rain from the north west the water pools on the porch and we have had water in the basement from time to time. It was time to enclose the porch to keep the rain out. This enclosure of the porch would block the view out my kitchen window.... so my brilliant idea... expand the kitchen into that space. It took some convincing, but Bob is ok with the project now.
This is what we are starting with. The house and the existing kitchen. Thank goodness, we don't have to tear down the kitchen until the addition is enclosed, plumbed, wired, and maybe even have a new sink and counter installed.
