What a dangerous Job
I rarely ruins my late nite life by watching videos online, but I did yesterday by watching the series of video related to cops working their mission on the way, and it was a shock!
Given the one time experience being pulled over by a police officer, I've never had a chance to view their work so close and experience the same (actually much less) mental routes they've been through.
Among the douzen of clips I viewed, there were cops that talked to people and finally tazered them, a lot of video actually focused on these scenes, don't know how they got these patrolling record data out of the police department's database. Also, there was a cop in NC (I guess) who was shot by two guys when they were pulled over with bottles in hand.
There were stupid drivers running into the highway-patrol officer while he was standing by the border of the road. Some of these officers had an amazing response speed, while others were not lucky.
I found that for a third viewer experience, when it does not matter too much to yourself directly, you could still be able to hold a neutral attitude towards it, but when I saw a tiny accident of parachute jumping -- two guys crashed into each other when they are about to land. It's no big deal, seriously, but it gave me a huge pressure, or negative mood. (I am planning to go parachute jumping this month)
Again it made me think again of our affections. Are they just affections themself and nothing else? Do they bring potential changes to the physical process? A whole other set of Phylosophy problems emerge.
