The Core Contingency expansion features 25 new missions, 12 for each of its campaigns. There is a bonus mission called "Krogoth Encounter", which is set during the War on the metal world of Core Prime and available only in Hard difficulty setting. In this mission the player must fight against the experimental Krogoth super-units.
