13 Nov. 2007. Bruselas. Ayer fuimos a un concierto en el Palais des Beaux-Arts: John Eliot Gardiner dirigiendo el Monteverdi Choir y la Orchestre Revolutionnaire et Romantique. Obras de Brahms, Bach y Schütz. http://www.bozar.be/activity.php?id=7189
La interpretación fue fantástica (claro está, nobleza obliga) pero, ¿sabes qué? me dejó fría. No me gusta Brahms. Ein Deutsches requiem, es efectivo e impresionante en algunos pasajes, pero kistch y desordenado en otros. La verdad es que echo en falta la estructura y la pureza formal de otros compositores, de Bach a Shostakovitch.
En fin, poco comentario sobre este concierto. A ver si sigo escribiendo el blog, y en qué idioma......
