| This campaign will be a heavily narrated campaign driven by a storyline involving specific characters and their in-game actions. Every participant in the campaign must be present at the first battle on Sunday, January 9, which represents planet fall for each army. After that, battles will be assigned to each army and the results of these battles will drive the campaign forward. Battles must be held at 411 Pearl St. to count towards the campaign. Each assigned battle will have a deadline and if the game isnt played it will count as a loss for both sides. Armies MUST be fully painted (and based) in each game except the first one as there will be pictures taken and they must look pretty. Dont worry, though, as the first game will only involve 500 points and armies will not be required to field more than 500 points until February, so start painting! Each player must give the game master (John) a sheet with a brief history of their army and the names of two or three characters that will partake in the storyline of the campaign. Check out the website for an example of the information required for each army. Specific models in battles must represent these characters, it is up to the owning player whether each character partakes in any given battle. You may have all of your named characters in the same battle, or none at all, or just one, it is up to you. If they die during a game, however, there is a 1 in 6 chance that they will be killed in the storyline and this could have dire consequences for your armys morale! On the other hand, if these characters do great things during a game, it may boost your armys morale. These characters and their actions will be the primary influence on the storyline, so use them as often as you can! | ||||||||

Primary Mission- 750 points, defender, meatgrinder, versus Kroot FAILURE Secondary Mission- 750 points, cleanse FAILURE Kroot - Seven Points The Quel-Thalas Kindred has made excellent progress and recently dispatched many enemy commanders. They will continue to make lightning raids, for if the head is cut off, the body will fall limp. Primary Mission- 750 points, attacker, meatgrinder, versus 13th Company SUCCESS Secondary Mission- 750 points, cleanse FAILURE Special Rules: Geoffrey the great knarloc rerolls misses against vehicles and adds +1 to the damage roll on vehicles. Death Fists - Two Points Talisman was beaten at his own challenge, and Rufus has been getting progressively more frustrated with his so-called commander. Still, the blood frenzy continues to drive the Death Fists forward. The translations of the first ancient pillar found on the planet have been completed- "Ignite the weapon under the fires of the Southern Island". Looks like Chaos have already made that island their basecamp. Primary Mission- 750 points, nightfight, versus Death Fists FAILURE Secondary Mission- 750 points, cleanse FAILURE |
