| Are you a girl 15, 16 or 17 years old? This program is designed for you to have Fun while learning Leadership. As a member of this age group you can: |
| * Go camping * Go backpacking * Go to converences * Go to co-ed adventure events (with Scouts Canada) * Participate in Inter- national Events and/or Camps * Participate in Interpro- vincial Events and/or Camps * Learn leadership skills by helping out in a Unit |
| * Do Active Living activities * Have discussions on different career choices * Participate in discussions on Women's Issues * Give service to your com- munity, and reach out to help others throughout the world. * Participate in the Duke of Edinburgh's Young Canadian Challenge Award * Earn the Chief Commissioner's Gold Award |
| Rangers is an activity-based program organized by the girls themselves. Adult members provide guidance and support to assist these young women to reach their goals. Trips, camps, service projects or co-ed activities are a few of the ways these young women develop their independence, leadership skills and self-confidence as they step into adulthood. |

| Rangers learn leadership skills by doing activities in the community. They learn how to organize hikes, active living activities, home skills, emergency preparation and the best way of giving service to those who need it. The Ranger Program is divided into Interest areas: Active Living ~ Camping ~ Canadiana Creative Arts ~ Cultural Diversity ~ Future Global Awareness ~ Guiding Service Independent Living ~ Leadership Outdoors ~ Science and Technology Service ~ Women's Concerns. A Ranger Unit plans its own program and activities using their Guider as a resource person. |
