| The Spittin' Cobra will be my version of the strafer. The BB in COBBRA is, of course, a reference to the ammo it will shoot. The drawing is not to scale. It will have a CAR collapsible stock plus a few minor differences. I am actually building 3 strafers: Two clones, and a smaller one in a 1 1/2" Tee, the Spittin' Cobra. |

| Here is a picture of the Cobra mocked up. Nothing is permanent yet. The Tee is sealed with modded plugs at the stock and at the shroud above the barrel. There will be a 1/4" plug at the center of the Tee on top for filling with BB's. You can see how the stock is attached to the 1 1/2" x 3/4" reducer bushing. The bushing was reamed out just so the stock tube would screw in, then the locking ring was tightened against the alignment washer. The stock has 4 positions, when fully extended, adds about 3" to the OAL. The Vortex is shown below, it is made out of bondo with a 5/8" vortex hole. |
