Introduction:
This website is dedicated to Izzy and Heidi. These two lovable
red-eared sliders make up our turtle family. Izzy is originally from South Padre Island, TX. He was
just a baby when we got him at the end of summer 2002, during a Labor
Day weekend trip. Summer 2003, we purchased Heidi (only a few days old) from Alamo Aquatics pet store to keep Izzy
company.
Turtle Tales:
We are proud of how happy and healthy our turtles are after 2 years with us.
It is sad that many turtles that are purchased as pets end up dying
early on due to improper care. If given the right
environment and attention, a red-eared slider can live 20-30 years.
