Another strange. Another strange about Daniel. She seemed to be having more and more dreams about him lately than ever before. That was strange in itself. She never used to think about Daniel like that, but lately she had. How? How the hell had she started to think about him like this. She lay in bed, covers pulled up around her. She looked out of the corner of her eye at the other side of the bed. No. He wasn't there. She sighed and rolled over again. It would be another birthday alone again. Just tell me how I got this far Just tell me why you're here and who you are 'Cause every time I look you're never there And every time I sleep you're always there As she arrived at the base the next day, Sam looked around as she parked her car. No. There was Jack though. And he was hurrying towards her. Like something important had happened that she should know about. The first thing that had grabbed her, was something had happene to Daniel. Now that was something that she couldn't bear. Something happening to Daniel. Again. "Carter!!" she heard and looked towards Jack again. "Colonel" she replied, as she grabbed her briefcase. "You have to come down to the lab!!" now Sam was worried. "Has one of my experiments gone wrong?" Jack grinned to himself. This was perfect. "Yes....it has" And she was gone before he could even finish his sentance. I recognize the way you make me feel It's hard to think that you might not be real I sense it now, the water's getting deep I try to wash the pain away from me Away from me Jack managed to catch her before she ran into her lab in a panic. "Carter!!" he said, laughing "Calm down and walk in slowly". She thought he was preparing her for the explosion. What he had prepared her for was the surprise party that Daniel had been planning most of the year. Her dad was there, members of the Tok'ra were there and all from the SGC. "Oh my god." she said slowly, grinning broadly. "This is amazing!! Who's idea was it?" "That would be Daniels" She grabbed Daniel and pulled him into a hug, which she then turned into a kiss. She pulled back, realising herself and then he bent down, kissing her back. Just about everyone cheered and got on with the party.
