each one is an authetic tach or speedo pegging!


The '80 speedo stops at 84mph. Due to it being way off, this is an actual 70-75mph. Note that you can't even see the tach needle in this photo. I've driven for 90 straight minutes with the speedo on the peg... not that hard, really!


The below pics... well let's just say don't try this at home kids. If you have an MSD 6AL then you can try. I would do my burnouts hanging off the 8400 limiter, seen in the first two pics, and the series of three after that is me missing the 2-3 shift. I shift at 8000, so the limiter really saves my hide. However the limiter is only on the leading ignition. If you floor it in a low gear and hold it there, you could potentially still overrev the engine on trailing ignition alone, like I did last winter. You won't be able to tell because the tach stops at about 8200. You have been warned.
