INTERNET TRAVEL PROJECT

One advantage of the Internet is the ability to research, plan, and purchase travel arrangements via many Internet sites. You and one of your friends or family members want to take a one-week trip to a destination outside Florida. Choose a place you would like to visit. Do all planning for the trip by using available Internet travel sites. Obtain the flight information and cost for two plane tickets, hotel reservations (or some type of accommodation), car rental (or some transportation while you are there), and purchase tickets to an event you want to attend. Find out about the weather you can expect during the time of your visit. You will want to be sure you take the right kind of clothing. Use Microsoft Word to write a 2- page summary of your Internet research. This summary should list your specific trip plans based on the Items to be included below. Also include the URL from which you received the information. Be sure that you list the URL of each site in your summary page. Save and insert at least one picture from your research in your summary. You must have a header. Once youve completed the project, e-mail it to the instructor as an attachment. Items to be included:
Destination and Information about where you are visiting
Plane reservations (airline, flight numbers, days, times, and costs)
Other transportation and costs (car rental, train information...)
Hotel or accommodations and costs
Tickets purchased to events and costs
Weather report for your vacation location and time frame
Picture of the place youre visiting.

You must remember to create a header and use, 12 point font, single spaced.
