CD DATABASE

Create a CD database for at least 30 of your favorite CD's in Access. Access will store your favorite Albums' titles with a comment, title, genre, and singer's name.

1)Click on the ACCESS icon on your desktop.

2)Click on "Blank Acess Database" then on the "OK" button.

3)Type "My CDS" for file name.

4)Double Click "Create table in Design view"

5)Type "Title" in the field name Column.

6)Double Click on the Data Type Column. The word "Text" should appear.

7)Type "Song Name" in the Description Column.

8) Repeat steps 5-7 adding "Singer" "Text" "Singer" for each Column.

9) Repeat steps 5-7 adding "Genre" "Text" "Most favorite 1 to least favorite 30 plus" for each Column.

10)Repeat steps 5-7 adding "Favorite" "Number" "Singer" for each Column.

11) Repeat steps 5-7 adding "Comments" "Text" "Comments" for each Column.

12) Click on "FILE" in the menu bar and then "SAVE".

13) Save Table as "List of CDs" and click "OK" button.

14) A window will come up and ask "Do you want a Primary Key?". Click "YES".

15) Click "FILE" in the menu bar and then "CLOSE". 16) A Window will come up "DO YOU WANT TO SAVE" click "YES". 17) Your done with Creating a table.

18) Click "VIEW" in the menu bar and then "DATASHEET VIEW". 19) Type all your favorite CD's including Singer,Title,Genre, Comments,and Most favorite sequence.
