It all started when i recieved an Email from my old friend (and now Studio Psycho and co-owner) Caffnine (a.k.a Katsuya). The email came with the link to a place called 'yoU aRe Drawing!' (URD for short). Both he and I joined around the same time, and unfortunately, neither of us could join an existing studio (for some reason).
Katsuya, prefering to be his own boss, and myself, feeling very much like an outcast, decided to put together our own studio, on the theme of an awful angst poem i wrote, titled 'Outcast'.
From then, we gathered a fair few members of varying talents, whilst still keeping it a fairly closed-circle studio.
By Novemeber 2004, we had eight members, two projects, but not much finished work. It was realising how much we had yet to accomplish that saddened us to hear of the URD's death.
Its death saddened almost everyone on the site, including fellow Outcast members, Feena Flame and Evi, who were also leaders of neighbouring studios, Musical Arts and Black Rose.
It was Feena who first thought of the idea of banding together. She, like most of us, didn't want it to end there. She, along with Evi and myself, created Dreams In Lavender, a mixture of our three studios.
That is where everyone continues to work today, together,
as one huge family.
