All Because of Her

I’m not exactly sure how long I’ve been feeling this way.

Day and night seem to run together.

Sometimes I can’t tell the difference between dreams and reality.

 

All because of her...

 

I remember a time when these feelings could never be possible, when feeling, period, could never be possible.

Life, itself, was nothing to me.

I destroyed, I killed; anything, anyone.

I was told to.

No remorse, no regret.

My own life was nothing.

But something changed.

 

All because of her...

 

The moment our eyes met, that first night, something happened.

My objective was to kill her.

Many times, I was given the opportunity, but I couldn’t.

Why?

Because she showed no fear, because time and time again she showed me I was worth more than a tool, that I could be more...

            ....That I was human...

 

All because of her...

 

Confusion...all I’ve felt since that day.
