Disclaimer yet again, GW is not mine. But you all
should know that by now. The Storm, once again, Kalli
Nichole Winner, Izreina Day, and Trinity Winters,
they do belong to me.
My imaginary pals, Heero and Duo decided that I was
too old for imaginary friends and they both left me. *le sigh*
Feedback……….please?
Heart of the Storm
Chapter Six
Space is cold…dark…empty…yet… It paused. So
vast…much to explore… Is this…what it means…to be…?
…Free…
That voice…that woman…
As I said…You are not me…
I am not…I am…Who am I?…What am I?
You are you…Perhaps a soul that longs to live again…
Perhaps…Who are you?…I know you…
There is a man…that forced you to exist in my body…my mind…You fought for
control…
I did?
Yes…Perhaps irritated because my walls held you…Imprisoned you…perhaps you
were fighting for a way out….or perhaps you fought because you wanted my
body…to live in as yours…
I…I…I remember…You resisted…I…I…I caused you pain…
Yes…you did…I only found one way to end the pain…
You did?
Yes…If my mind ceased to function…you would leave…
You destroyed your body so we could both be free?
I tried…but my heart would not allow my body to die…it lies in a coma until
I return…
When will you return?
When this battle is over…
Is there something we can do?
I’m certain there is…we can’t do much without physical bodies…but…I know how
to get to Sarris…
We can hurt him just as he’s hurt us…
Yes…

Heero looked down at his older sister. He was
glad that they had been able to rescue her from the remains of her Gundam. He sat on the side of her hospital bed,
brushing a part of her bangs out of her face.
Relena walked into the room and handed him a cup of
coffee. She stood silently for a moment, then
turned towards the door.
“Relena.”
She looked to Heero as he took her hand.
“Stay. Please.”
She nodded and took a seat next to him, holding his hand tightly.
Heero stared into his coffee before setting it on a
table next to the bed.
“Looking for my past has been like looking for a needle in a haystack…”
Relena sat quietly.
“And, I’ll be damned if I lose that needle just as soon as I find it.”
They sat in awkward silence for a while before there was a knock at the
door. Milliardo stood in the doorway.
“Une knows where to find Barton. There’s a
meeting in 10 minutes.”
Heero nodded.
“And, Howard is threatening to kill your son if he doesn’t stop shooting his
people with a water pistol.”
“I thought I took that thing away from him.” Relena
sighed and stood up.
“Maxwell’s son gave him another one.”
“We’re going to have to separate those two.” Relena
let go of Heero’s hand and started towards the
door. “I’ll be back, if not, I’ll see you at the meeting.”
“Only if Marimeiha agrees to have those two in the
same room together.” Milliardo stepped aside so
she could pass.
Heero stood up and walked into the hallway. He
glanced back at Trinity. “How long have you known them,
Zechs?”
“Almost 15 years.” He didn’t see any reason to keep the truth from
Heero. Not anymore.
Heero nodded and left Milliardo
in the doorway.
Milliardo watched Heero disappear
before stepping into the room, closing the door behind him. He walked
over to Trinity and took a seat beside her bed. He just sat in silence, staring
at her.
Trinity…he unconsciously took her hand. It was cold, like
ice. Tell me the truth. He held her hand with one of his and
laid the other on her forehead, which also felt like ice. Is Michael
my son?
