Do we gotta do this disclaimer thing, yet again? I don't own it.  Kal, Trin, and Iz, I do own.

Maybe I should quit asking for feedback…..since I don’t get any…..

I think I had one email from this fic and it said that 1) I had too many twins and 2) too much of the ‘girl power’ thing.

Point1) I am a twin in real life.  Point 2) I happen to enjoy the ‘girl power’ thing.

So *sticks out tongue* Poo Poo on you…..

Heart of the Storm

Chapter Eight

Izreina sat in the cockpit of her Gundam Thundershock.  She wasn’t really doing anything, she just sat there with the hatch open.  She closed her eyes.

Trinity, where are you?

I’m here, Iz, her voice replied.

Where?

Nowhere, and everywhere.

What kind of an answer is that?

The truth.  I can’t really explain it.

Are you coming back?

Eventually.

When?

Soon.

We’re all worried.  Your body is dying.

I know, Iz.  But I know how much time I have.  And it’s just enough to do what I need to.

What is it, you’re doing?

Making Sarris pay.

Who is that?

A friend, Iz.  You should go now.  Someone is calling you.

Izreina heard her name being called, it seemed distant, but when she opened her eyes, she was staring into Quatre’sGod, he has beautiful eyes.

“Are you all right, Izreina?  I’ve been trying to wake you for a few minutes now.”

“I’m fine, QuatreJust deep in thought.”  She smiled a little.  “What did you need?”

“I was wondering if you knew where Kalli was.  I was going to see her for a little while before we left.  I hope she’s all right.”  He stepped away from her a little, suddenly realizing he was only a few inches from her face.  A slight pink color came to his cheeks.  He turned quickly and stood out on the hatch.

Izreina hid a chuckle.  “She’ll be all right.”  She crawled out of the cockpit and stood with him.  “Have you tried the shooting range? She usually relieves stress by putting holes in targets.”

“Really?” he asked after getting over his slight embarrassment.

“Yeah.”  Izreina jumped off of the hatch and onto the floor below.

Quatre climbed down a ladder that he had placed next to the Gundam earlier.  Izreina looked at him as he put the ladder away and walked over to her.

“Pansy,” she said and started towards the door.

“I am not.”  He followed her.

“Are too.”

“Am not.”

It continued as they walked down the hall.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kalli fired repeated shots at the target 20 feet away.

“Damn you, Trin,” she said as she reloaded her gun and went back to her massacre on the target.

“You never care….about how…..everyone…..feels about….the actions….you take!” she shouted, firing in between words.

You’re wrong, Kal.

Kalli lowered her gun.  Trin  She closed her eyes.

I know that you’re upset at me.  You have every right to be.

Why did you leave us?

She had no choice.

Who the hell are you?

Don’t worry about her, Kal.  Listen to me.  Right now, you’ve got to control your anger.  You’re only going to end up hurting someone you love.  Don’t worry about me.  I’ll be all right.  I’ll live.  Worry about yourself.

I can’t….Trin?…..Trin?!  The voice was gone.  DAMN IT!!

She opened her eyes again and took aim.  She heard someone approaching her from behind.  Without thinking, she turned and fired.  She gasped and dropped the gun when she realized who it was.

“Oh, God, Quatre….”

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Milliardo walked into the hanger where he found Howard working on Wing Zero.  Howard looked up over his sunglasses at him as he entered.

Une sent me,” stated Milliardo.

Howard nodded.   “Right.  Come on.”  He led Milliardo down to the opposite end of the hanger.

Milliardo stared up at the mobile suit that stood there.  Epyon.”

“Right.
Lady Une didn’t want you going in without a suit that’ll be able to fight along side the Storm.  Those girls are tough.”

“I know.  I trained them.”  How they surpassed me, I’ll never know.

“Right.  Now, there are some changes to Epyon’s designs.  And the ZERO system was not installed, but I think you’ll be able to work without that.”

Milliardo nodded.  “That’s fine.”

“Now, I guess you ought to report to Lady Une for your part of the mission.”

Milliardo nodded.  “Right.”  He turned and left the hanger.  He figured he’d take a detour through the hospital wing.  He stopped at the end of the hall when he saw her door open.  Michael stepped out.  He crept down the hall and stopped when he saw Milliard.

The two of them stared at each other.  The boy was a good two and a half feet shorter than Milliardo, but his complexion, his hair, almost the same.  The only things that resembled his mother were his eyes.

“If Miss Marimeiha asks you,” the boy began.

“I never saw you,” finished Milliardo.

The boy nodded and continued down the hall.  Milliardo watched him.  Why didn’t you tell me, Trinity?

What would you have done if you knew?  He heard her voice in his head.  He had to admit, he didn’t know the answer.

He stopped at her door and looked through the window, seeing Heero sitting on her bedside.  He dismissed his decision to see her and continued on to Une’s office.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sarris.

Sarris.

It’s time to wake up.

Wake up.

Their voices wouldn’t stop.  “Get the hell out of my head.”

Now why would I do that?  You used me, Sarris.

You used us.

“I don’t even know who you are!”

Why don’t you?  You put her inside my head.

“I didn’t.  I didn’t do anything to you.  If anything was done, it was my father!”

Dekim Barton wasn’t smart enough for something like this.

I know that name…

Sarris laughed nervously.  “You see?  He wasn’t a smart man, he could have screwed up.”

You still need to pay.  You still used me.

“I might have, but it doesn’t matter now, does it?  You did you’re job, now it’s my turn.”  He walked to his desk and punched a button.  “Deploy the suits now.”  He looked up, speaking to the voices that weren’t there.  “Now, Trinity.  Four  Gundams down.  That leaves four left.  They won’t stand a chance.  I’ve won this war.”

But this battle is mine.

I know who I am….

“Really now?  And who is Trinity’s little friend?” asked Sarris.

Leia Barton…

Leia…?” started Sarris.

And it was you who killed me…

“I…I…was ordered to.  I was only following orders.”  He felt pain returning.

Tut tut, Sarris…killing your own sister
.

“Look who’s talking,” he said, blankly.  “You killed your own brother.”

No she didn’t.

They survived.

So now you’ve got seven Gundams to worry about.

Make that eight, because Une’s been working on Epyon for Zechs.

“Damn it.”  He reached for his desk to cancel those orders.

Oh, no you don’t…

Sarris screamed again in pain.

Looks like I’ve won this war.  I'm certain she can handle things here.

Go...

Thank you.

I should be thanking you.

Will you join us? I’m sure someone would love to feel your presence.

Just tell her that I love her.  I’ll be watching over her from now on.

I will.  There’s nothing more precious than a mother’s love.

I’m sorry my father had to take that from you and your brother.  I’m sorry I tried to take it from your children.

It’s all in the past.  We’ve both got work to do.

Yes.
