Marlon Morales has over ten years experience in popular education, advocacy and community organizing around issues affecting low-income and marginalized communities in Los Angeles County. Most recently, Marlon coordinated the Central American Resource Center's successful community empowerment and organizing projects.  Prior to that, he worked in grant making at the Liberty Hill Foundation.   As a volunteer he has staffed various organizing efforts including statewide campaigns. Marlon has served on various advisory and decision boards including the 45th Assembly District Advisory Board and the Los Angeles Lesbian and Gay Community Funding Board.  He has grown small organizations such as La Familia de UCLA and launched new organizations like EpiCentro. Marlon has authored a number of editorials, policy essays, and creative literary work.
Marlon Morales was born in San Salvador, El Salvador and now lives in Los Angeles, California.
