Arcturis Dernitz is lauded for his decisions during the recent �hostilities� between Izimbeckwi and the invading forces of Pax, Edenstein, and Manarth. Dernitz�s decisions are credited for saving the lives of countless servicemen and clones. The IPF used a series of �strategic withdraws� to confuse the enemy and remain relatively safe from attack. The Zembeck forces suffered very low losses in this conflict. Less than one tenth of one percent of the IPF was rendered combat ineffective. In total only 314 civilians were harmed, and those who reside within captured cities were given adequate care, according to the International Iron Cross.
