WELCOME TO IZA PUBLISHING Less than a year ago, Asian born Mariza Angeles Smith had an idea. She wanted to take a Filipino folk tale and turn it into a coloring book for kids and with a little over $10,000 she started her company. Originally, the money was pledged to the Philippine-American community for a church but Mariza has since shared the money with more than just that organization. In less than a year, Mariza's coloring book, T-shirts and the book she publishes, "After Tomorrow" have brought over $52,000 to churches and children's programs throughout Corpus Christi. A former teacher and avid storyteller, Mariza does talks to adult groups for a chance to sell her books and presentations to children's groups for a small donation.
