| Originally a member of the japanese power rock band X-Japan, hide was a guaranteed success. He started the solo career during his time in X, so he had an automatic fan-base. After many successes and triumphs, hide died in 1998 of an accidental suicide. Following the news of his death, 4 people attempted suicide in his name. His former band mates of X-Japan performed their hit ballad "Forever Love" at hide's funeral. hide has a museum in Japan. | ||||
