A Brief History of Idle Youth
Chapter 1
Idle Youth was formed back in September of 1999 in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. The original members were:
Cookie - Voice
Stevo Repulsive - Guitar
Nitro Stan - Bass
Ed Anger - Drums
This lineup lasted for about a little under a year, playing out as much as possible, playing some incredibly intense live shows. Stevo and Nitro left the band for personal reasons and Ed and Cookie pursued other members.
Chapter Two
After months of searching, tryouts and conflicting schedules that forced the band to be unable to play out for more than a year, Idle Youth found its new members. Enter:
Johnny Zero - Guitar
Teat Mutt - Bass
After the two new members joined, Idle Youth continued playing out as much as possible, continuing the intense live shows. During the fall, this lineup also recorded the "Trash and Thrash EP". After about 7 months, Johnny and Teat Mutt decided to depart from Idle Youth. Again Ed and Cookie searched for new members, this time finding them rather quickly than before!
Chapter Three
Presently, Idle Youth consists of:
Cookie - Voice
Stevilive - Guitar
Action Beard! - Bass
Ed Anger - Drums
This lineup has proven to be the best over all, making the music and live shows more intense and physical than ever before. And so ends a brief history of Idle Youth, stay tuned as the story isn't over yet.
