| 2nd selection 2001 Firstly congratulations to our first winning poet Jade McGregor, also thank you to all of you who took the time to vote for your favourite poem because without you there would be no website! Thank you again for all of your enteries, we tried to pick a variety of pieces with different themes and feels to them. Anyway we hope you enjoy this second selection of poems. Also in answer to various e-mails, the Young in IYPS does not relate to a specific age range it refers to the young at heart, and in reply to "What is with the monkeys?" I just like them. | 1st selection 2001 Thank you to all of those poets who took the time to submit their efforts. We recieved a large variety of pieces highlighting how very different we all are and proving an apsolute joy to read and reflect upon. We tried to select a variety of pieces which we felt each stood out in their own unique way. So congratulations to all those whose work was selected.
