Rules |
Now that EDK has used the backup, I'm starting to import the old rules
to the new RPG. Hold on while I fix it up a little. And I'm
getting sick, so don't expect the edits to go up soon. I hope I
can still go skiing, but anyways, cheers that the s2 is back up.
DO NOT POST IN THE OLD RPG, UNLESS YOU ARE TRYING TO GET TO THE NEW
ONE! Thanks. And we did lose at least 300 posts, before it
went down, my post cout was 890 and now it is 490. >_<

Good news bad news, in the middle news.... |

Well, so much for the hopes that EDK would get their database
running. They are using the backup from November 17th. This
means a loss of 300 posts. We can't take this. So contrary
to my previous, hopeful article, Elemental Realm will be
restarting. Do not fear though, we now have a
dual-administratorship, which means faster updates. The URL is
shorter, and here's the clincher- All money, items, charas, elements,
and steeds from the first game may be taken into the second game!
Let's hear some cheers! Anyways, mail all your friends who play
this about this URL change. However, one note. As of this
friday, I'll be going to West Virginia for skiing, so I won't be able
to be on as much. Adam, this is not your time to complain loudly
about my administratorship. However, I must put a disclaimer
about our move.

This move was NOT made as a result of poor service. It was made because some idiots at phpbb couldn't
backup regularly. I must say, other than the recent downtimes, phpbb was a SUPERB host. They responded
as fast and best as they could, but in the end, the horrible database server was too much for the staff of ERRPG.
I want everyone to know that I contacted EDK via AIM, and he was polite, sincere, and tried to tell me what was
going on. But the loss of 300 posts and the last month's of updates was too much of a blow for us to take. Farewell
s2.phpbbforfree. You served us well.

12/13/05 Yes, the server isn't up, but I contacted EDK via AIM, it
looks to be up soon! While it can't connect, it's there, so we don't
have anything bad happening! Best of all, all data miraculously
survived, so Elemental Realm dosn't have to restart. Anyways, this is
Silver Knight, signing off.

The server is still down. Unfourtunatly, the nice, speedy Raid 10
array crashes, and so because of the complaints, there will be a move
back to the old, slower server. I cannot be certain that it will
be slower, EDK was very unclear about that. There is some
serious...well, mud-throwing at their forums which I don't want to go
into, needless to say some people are being complete idiots and
yelling. Clear up your heads or whack yourself, cursing is NOT,
repeat, NOT going to help getting those servers up. I don't
really care if you kids in L.A. can swear and get out of something,
it's not going to help in the real world. Anyways, back to
pleasantries. I am going to completly re-vamp certain things,
such as the items and enemies list and compile either an adobe document
or just a plain old word. Yes, the original pages will be edited
too, I'm not seeking to twist this place to my own desires. The
world list is just for a more detailed list. As for the game,
well, I'm going to start wracking my brain for some more ideas to flesh
out the storyline. Anyways, other than that, I only have a few
more things to say. Alex Brunton, despite all appearances, is
active. The server crashed when he tried to go on yesterday, and
his computer went berserk. Yes, I know that I told everyone he
can go into the library, as it's our homeroom, but all these other 8th
graders keep hogging them all and I get one of the last ones to get on
here, although I've been shoved out more than once. Final thing,
if Adamthelast tells you that I'm a dictator in training, go tell him
to boil his head. Please. He's been yelling that all over
the lunchroom. And one of my friends, Nora unfourtunatly
agrees. Anyways, expect the edits to go up soon. Don't
register at the forfreesupport forum, they just ban your e-mail adress
as soon as you send a note asking when the servers will get up
again. Long update, wasn't it?
P.S: Nayru, I know this is tough, but I'm begging you to use good grammar.

BIG UPDATE |
12/ ?? Sorry mates, can't remember the date.
It has come to my attention that the phpbbforfree server has gone
offline. They are, unfortunatly reverting to that s l o w
database they had before. Or so it seems. At the Scrimshaw
Inn, and here, do not click the game links, you will wind up with a
very big headache after sorting things out. They hoped to get it
up again today but couldn't, so expect by next week. My photo
editor is going
b e r s e r k and I think that Ganondork...er Ganondorf is secretly
sabotouging it. So while I get things up and try to bring the
forums to a state of semi-running, tell all your friends about this
game. As co-webmaster, I have responsibilities to advertise this,
but to be honest, my contact list has been used up. So tell your
friends about this game, please. I do hope to get a large
fanbase, and NO do not e-mail me about these forum server probs.
Yes I probably am the fastest responder to anything, game, e-mail or
otherwise, but I don't want any junk floating around, I've got busy
things to do. If by some miracle, the game gets out before
Christmas, well then:

Elemental Realm Game Update |
12/05/05: I updated the 'Elemetal Realm Game' page. Now you all will know the basic storyline and all the fun that goes with it.
About the date.
I realized a game this big can't take a girl and a few weeks to complete. I know all of the fan of the RPG will be clearly depressed when you hear this news. But I really can't finish it in time for you all to have something fun to do this Christmas. I can't make a highly detailed epic in a handful of time. Hopefully when it's finished Elemental Realm will build a huge fan base here so when I realease it, it will be a hit. So all you can do is try to help me by posting on the RPG, telling your frieds about it, and asking me if I need anything. Sorry ya'll. |

I just want everyone to know that I've finished two scrolls, not edited too much but I had all that time in English....
The poems will be posted soon, I'll continue editing. I'm pleased
to be able to work here. As a footnote though, Adamthelast won't
be on for awhile. Somehow he got his computer priviliges
suspended.
