From the desk of the IWF The first thing wed like to do is thank all of you for your feedback on how we can make the IWF the best game possible. As of right now, we are going to keep the number of champions in tact, and who is eligible to challenge these champions. However, from your feedback we have come to a conclusion regarding the tag and 6 Man Holds. Some managers feel there are too many holds to choose from when making strategies, and that the tag/6 holds have very little significance. After careful consideration we have decided to drop the tag/6 Man holds concept. Therefore, after this cycle, the tag/6 holds will be no more. In other IWF news, some of you may have heard that we are having a huge contest to entice prospective managers to give the IWF a try. Any new manager who joins, or even spends $1 to purchase a bulletin and check us out, will be entered in a huge drawing to be announced at a later date. What is the drawing for you ask? The lucky winner will get to play IWF for free for 6 MONTHS and will receive the match deal in a league of his choice during that interim. All new managers from last cycle on will be entered so if you have any friends who have been contemplating giving the IWF a look, please let them know of this huge contest. There is absolutely nothing to lose and we want as many people possible exposed to the new revolution known as the IWF! It will make the IWF an even better and more fun game than it already is. Last month we mentioned that there will be a huge IWF-wide Supercard to commemorate our 1 year anniversary this summer. Next month we will announce the name of this event, as well as, the exact cycle it will take place; either the August or Summer cycle. Any manager will be able to have his wrestler(s) challenge any wrestler(s) from any league. Since not all managers are in every league, also be on the lookout for a huge IWF-Wide wrestler printout next month, so you will see who is available to challenge. The exact procedure of how this event will work will be discussed in greater detail next month. Tag and 6 Man Rankings have been implemented within leagues this cycle upon request. Note that previously if there was a tie with two or more teams beating the tag or 6 man champions by the same amount of points, the titles would be given to the team with the better point concentration. Well, that will not be the case anymore. With tag/6 man rankings, the higher ranked team will get the first shot at the belts. Also note that even if you dont have a team who is ranked, you can still challenge for the tag and 6 man belts in your league. Stable rankings will officially begin with the start -of the IWFs second year. We have derived a fair system to rank stables so that will be right around the corner. Also in the IWFs second year, there will be a StableWars competition and so many more new innovations. If you have america-online you can check out the IWF Folder Message Board by keywording to PBM Clubs and then going to PBM Messaging. If you are not hooked up to america-online, but have internet access, the IWF website is at members.aol.com/crushercd/IWF.html As always, any manager who brings in a new manager to the IWF, receives 5 free matches. Thats about it for this month but there is lots going on so stay tuned, and as always, thank you very much for your support of the IWF!
