IWF NOTES
Those who are eligible to challenge the Do or Die champion, Avatarr the Collector, are as follows: The Heavyweight and Jr. Heavyweight champions in each league this cycle. Also, this cycles World, IC, Global, and Ultimate Royal champions are eligible. It is only $2 per wrestler that you challenge for the Do or Die title, and you can find the place to sign that on your match selection sheets. Now, onto a few other things. The $1 wrestler creation fee has been temporarily waived in all IWF leagues. Disgruntled Veterans Wrestling will open next cycle in the Tough Guy Division. It will consist of wrestlers who originally competed in other organizations, with their records kept intact. We ask, however, that you show us documentation of your wrestlers from the other organizations being legitimate, such as a photo copy, or whatnot. The wrestler transfers to DVW will be free the first cycle, and will be $1 per wrestler thereafter, but you are limited to 3 free wrestler transfers for the first cycle. In addition, matches in DVW will be 2 for $1 the first cycle. A few other things. If you wish to use your free matches, remember that you can use them in as many leagues as you wish, but you must spend at least $3 when using them. Since we have stopped sending out coupons, simply tell us how many matches you are owed and how many you wish to use. We maintain records of how many free matches each manager has. Further, we will soon be adding stable rankings to our many feature lists. Event Promotors are still needed in CPW, USW, DVW, and STW. Their function is to hype up the feuds within the league, as well as to give match descriptions. Commissioners are needed in CPW and DVW. Their role is to hold contests, supercards, make things exciting for everyone, etc. We would suggest that Event Promotors and Commissioners even coordinate their efforts. We hope all of you had a happy and healthy holiday season, we were especially touched by the numerous greetings cards that we received! We want to thank everyone for making the IWF the #1 game in PBM wrestling as we enter 1998.
