From the desk of the IWF
The first thing well do is give out the ratings shares for this cycle:
CPW: 2.9 USW: 3.4 HMW: 4.4 STW: 5.8 LVW: 1.5
If you take pride in your league, be as active as possible! Ratings shares are now projected by total matches taken. On a side note, the IWF would like to remind you that it is easier for us to accept emailed comments/reports if you have computer access. We can be reached at [email protected]. Additionally, with the Ads coming out, we anticipate a lot more reponsibilities, so if you are going to send in hand-written or typed comments, please, no more than 2 or 3 full pages per manager to make sure all your comments are printed. If emailed, send as much as ya like. Elsewhere, we are pleased to announce that we are adding a special Ladies Title to the front page titles of every league! Only female wrestler characters will be eligible to go after this title, but note that female wrestlers CAN go after regular mens titles, much like Chyna in the WWF. Look for these Ladies Titles to be implemented within a cycle or two. Also, there is a pretty good chance we may be adding an additional regular title to all leagues, or at the very least, a specific rookie championship in HMW. Well keep you posted. Now, onto something we call STABLE WARS! Last year we had a lot fun with this and we feel this time will be no different! In the end, only one stable will prove its supremacy over everyone else! Talk about bragging rights! Here is how it works. Stables will face off, head-to-head, in 7 matches: 5 singles matches, 1 tag team match, 1 six-man match. The stable that wins at least 4 out of those 7 matches, advances to the next round. It is up to you and your stable to determine which wrestlers represent your group. Additionally, you must have 3 different wrestlers represent your singles competitors! It is $1 per wrestler or team and again, it is up to you or your stable to determine who pays for that. The competition will be single elimination, meaning lose and go home, win and advance. You can register by sending appropriate payment and information to IWF c/o Stable Wars, PO Box 541132, Flushing, NY 11354. The deadline for all entries is the end of IWF Cycle #39, as first round match-ups will be listed in the Monthly Report of Cycle #40.
