From the desk of the IWF
The first thing well do is give out the ratings shares for this cycle:
CPW:  2.0  USW:  2.3  HBW:  1.6  STW:  3.7 LVW:  2.8
If you take pride in your league, be as active as possible!  Ratings shares are now projected by total matches taken.  On a side note, the IWF would like to remind you that it is easier for us to accept emailed comments/reports if you have computer access.  We can be reached at [email protected].   Additionally, with the Ad coming out in WOW Magazine August 1st, we anticipate a marked increase in business, possibly doubling or even tripling the size of the IWF the way it is now!  With that said, we will have a lot more reponsibilities so if you are going to send in hand-written or typed comments, please, no more than 2 or 3 full pages per manager to make sure all your comments are printed.  If emailed, send as much as ya like!   A lot of you have heard than along with the Ad coming out in August, we have also purchased advertisements in 3 other wrestling magazines!  They are PWI, (f0r 2 issues) Inside Wrestling, and The Wrestler!  These Ads will appear from October-November on the newsstands, with PWI  being the first to hit the stands on October 3rd!  All in all, the summer advertising blitz of 2,000 will reach over 900,000 readers!  Needless to say, we are excited about this endeavor and the IWF getting much, much bigger.  Once again we thank our loyal managers for sticking with us through the thick and the thin.  Without you guys, none of this would be possible!  Next month well have some info. on new league openings for these rookie managers and when veterans will be able to join those leagues.  In the meantime, Rising Sun Wrestling (RSW) is opening next cycle (cycle 36), and is in the Continental Division.  The deadline to send in strats, matches (face random drones in your debut with our customary match prices), and payment, is August 11.  We have two other main issues to discuss before getting to the King of the IWF Tournament stuff.  Firstly, IWF Year 3 is winding down, and ya know what that means!  The Yearly Awards, voted on by, you, the managers!  Here are a list of categories to vote on.  Simply snail mail or email us your votes and be as fair as you possibly can!  Give us your top three in each category!
1) Most Hated Manager
2) Most Popular Manager
3) Best Stable (currently)
4) Best Trash Talker
5) Best Character/Angle Based (Role Playing) Manager [If you only know the wrestler whose stuff impresses you, and dont know who his manager is, give us the wrestler and we will take care of it.]
6) Manager Who Improved The Most As IWF Year 3 Went On
7) Manager You Respect The Most
8) Best League
9) Toughest Manager You Have Gone Head-To-Head Against
10) Best Manager Of Year In Your Opinion
11) Best Stable Of Year In Your Opinion
12) Wrestler vs. Wrestler Feud of the Year
13) Stable vs. Stable Feud of the Year
14) Overall Feud of the Year (can be manager vs. manager, stable vs, stable, or
even manager vs. stable, etc.)
Please note that you can do special write-in votes for any categories not listed above that you can come up with, as long as you give us your top 3.  We will accept all ballots through the end of the first year (end of cycle #36).

The third-annual IWF-Wide Pay-Per-View is upon us!  You can face any wrestler in any IWF league!  The match write-up will be a huge report and thus, it is $2 per match for this special, prestigious event.  The event itself will take place in Cycle #37 with results of matches being based on strategy totals from Cycle #37.  You can submit matches for the PPV through the end of Cycle #36.  The PPV will feature the King of the IWF Finals, the top 2 ranked wrestlers of the year squaring off, and a Triple Threat League Bragging Rights Match between top wrestlers from CPW, USW, and STW!  We hope to see some Event Promoter Report In-League Titles also defended at the extravaganza!  If you purchase only one match for $2 at the very least, we will feel this special write-up will be well worth it!
