Some Other News and Notes:  We encourage new managers to plot hold value charts each month to keep track of patterns developing with the hold values over time.  As a general rule, the good holds tend to stay good, and hold values do not go more than 8 points up or down.  Of course, no hold ever remains at the same hold value two straight months.  We know it can get frustrating being in a veteran league, but we urge you guys to be patient.  It takes some time to get really good at it!  You can do it!  Also, High Impact Wrestling (HIW) is available for you new managers to craft your skills against other rookie managers.  In other news, we are happy to announce that several IWF related websites are in the process of being constructed.  Well have more news on this soon.  Finally, the IWF would like to wish legendary managers, Jerry Martin, Geoff Silva, and Kevin DiFranco, the best of luck in their retirements from the game.  Each of the managers are former IWF World Champions, among countless other accomplishments, and are true class acts.  We hope to have you back one day!

THE HARDCORE HEARTTHROB ANALYZES THE KING OF
THE IWF TOURAMENT

Hey folks.  Its me, the Hardcore Heartthrob, making a special appearance for the IWF Monthly Report.  Apparently Sandberg, being the cheapskate that he is, wants me to do other things besides The Hot Seat and not pay me for it!  It figures.  Anyhow, lets take a look at the tournament, thus far, and then a look ahead at what I see in round two.  Some notables from round 1 that I noticed were:
1) Chris Dutschmann and Nathan Couch advancing all four of their wrestlers to round two.
2) A classic match-up between STWs Lightning Mountain and HBWs Triple X Justin Flanzraich, with Triple X coming out on top.  For those of you who dont know, there has been an ongoing war between the HBW and STW Promotions, and Triple X interfered in one of Lightning Mountains Title Matches at an STW Supercard, costing him the match. Revenge did not happen for Lightning Mountain in this one.
3) We saw some new blood advance and show off their skills.  Among the newcomers that advanced and impressed people were Pimp Daddy Jones, Mad Jack, Death Jester, and Big Bad Pimp Daddy.

Now, taking a look at round two.  Here are some interesting
sub-plots:
1) Former HX stablemates, Tim The Comet Szokan and Triple X Justin Flanzraich will do battle.  Since Justin turned pansy babyface in HBW a few cycles back, Ill be pulling for The Comet in this one.  In any event, look for these two to go all out to prove who was the backbone of the Heartbreak Xpress.
2) Jarrett Highspeed Chase defeated Big Dick Leaky in round one, in what many called the marquee match-up of the first round.  Now Chase will have to face Leakys tag team partner, Ripping Ron Chaff.  If you ask this reporter, its going to be a hard feat to beat two MAIM boys back-to-back!
3) Everybody knows that in USW (United States Wrestling), my boy, my main man, Patrick Paradigm Shift, is going straight to the top.  Well, he gets a tough draw here having to face Hitman Howard Capone.  I just may have to interfere if it means my protege advancing here.  *evil laugh*
4)  Call me crazy, but I foresee a huge upset in round 2 somewhere.  One of these wrestlers with a huge ego is going to fall to a young upstart.  I could be wrong, but I doubt it!
