IWF NOTES
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us through our first cycle of existence. We appreciate all of the positive responses we have receive, and we will further try to improve upon what we feel is the ultimate PBM wrestling experience--IWF!!! By popular demand, we have already implemented wrestler and manager of the year ranking systems. Very soon, we hope to add cumulative tag and six rankings, not to mention cycle rankings for all wrestling categories. This cycle we have added a system to the match format where you will not always win with your finishing move, just like in real wrestling, where you often win with other holds. The system is as follows: any singles match that falls within 10 points ends with the winner's trademark hold. For every point greater than 10, the hold that the winner is victorious with goes down the line. For instance, if you win by 11 points, you win with your 13th hold; if you win by 12 points, you win with your 12th hold, and so on and so forth down the line. Any match where the difference is greater than 22 points is declared a squash, and the victor wins with his first hold. In tag/6 matches, your team wins with their highest valued hold at slot 7 if they win, unless they win by four straight holds, and then they win at that slot with their highest valued hold. I hope that makes our system as clear as possible. If there are any questions, feel free to drop us a line. Now, onto other things. There was some confusion as to how many free matches are awarded for winning majors titles. The number you see in this IWF Monthly is official. The Rookie Challenge will begin this cycle, as rookies enter the IWF. Finally, we would like to announce two new titles/innovations to the IWF. Next cycle, there will be an IWF-wide competition in witch you can enter for just $2. The winner of this IWF-wide "Survivors Series/No DQ" match will be crowned Do Or Die Champion. The winner will be determined by your total strategy. Any ties will be broken by point concentration, and any and all wrestlers are permitted to enter this contest. This champion will will constantly defend his title in regular matches (determined by conventional IWF singles strategies) but only against Heavyweight and Jr. Heavyweight champs in all leagues that particular cycle, as well as reigning Global, IC, World Tag, World 6, and Ultimate Royal Champions, but that wrestler (the challenger) as to sign the match the match, witch is $2. You can look for special "Do Or Die" updates each cycle in the IWF Monthly. In addition, an over-the-top battle royal will be added to each promotion, where you can enter the battle royal in your league for just $1, The winner of each battle royal will be determined by adding up the wrestler's first five holds and then point concentration is used as a tiebreaker. The winner will also receive 10 bonus points witch will help his rank, and compete for the IWF-wide Ultimate Royal Championship. Thus, two more IWF titles have been added. There will be more details on this next cycle. For now, we would like to thank John Rossi for the foundation of the Do Or Die title. If any manager gets a friend to join the IWF, he gets 5 free matches. Simply tell your friend when he sends in, to send us a little note saying that you referred him to the IWF, and then the free matches are yours. That's it for now. Good luck!
