From the desk of the IWF Firstly, we want to wish everyone a happy holiday season! Recently there has been a lot of lobbying and questioning about the maximum limit of wrestlers a manager can have in a given league. While no precedent was set prior to this, we are going to set a maximum limit of 7 wrestlers per manager in a given league. Hopefully this number will prove to be fair, as we believe it is. A manager can still sweep all 7 singles titles and dominate the title page this way, but without an abundance of different strategies to play with to increase his odds of winning. We know this has been a hot topic of conversation online and whatnot, and we apologize for all the confusion here. We should have established some sort of precedent in the past. As far as names of wrestlers go, while we encourage creativity at the IWF, we also condone freedom of expression. Therefore, a manager can call his wrestler anything he wants. It is not within our jurisdiction to deem whether this wrestler is original or that wrestler unoriginal. it would simply get too confusing for us. Each manager plays the game differently, which is his given right, and it is the choice of managers who they want to feud with or ally with. So with that said, we hope all of you guys enjoy the game! Several months ago we announced that all new managers would be entered into a drawing where one lucky manager would win 6 months of IWF for free! Well, all new managers from cycle #8 when this was announced, will be interested to know that we will be announcing the winner of the drawing in the next IWF Monthly Report. The drawing will take place sometime this cycle and will be announced on America Online, as well. Wed like to urge managers to check out Mexican Luchador Wrestling (MLW), which is still relatively new, as were looking to get this league into gear. And finally, with the holiday season approaching, now would be a great time to introduce a friend to the IWF. Instead of the usual 5 free matches for getting a friend to join, in the holiday spirit for this cycle, we will be awarding 10 free matches to the new manager who joins and the manager who refers him! In addition, all new managers from here on in will be entered into the second drawing where they can win 6 months of IWF for free, which will be held at a later date. Check out our Ad in Pro Wrestling All-Stars hitting the newsstands on January 5th. Take care everyone!
